Mesh welding at a glance

In mesh welding, wires are arranged in a grid and connected at the intersections. Electrodes press the wires together and pass current through the contact points. The electrical resistance generates heat, which melts the contact surfaces. After cooling, a strong, precise connection is formed.

    Electrodes conduct electricity directly to the intersection points of two mesh wires. Available in WIRBALIT® B (CuCo2Be) or WIRBALIT® N (CuCrZr).
