Intro
Spot welding at a glance
In spot welding, overlapping sheets are pressed together by two electrodes and welded at specific points. The current flows through the contact point, where the electrical resistance generates heat and causes the material to melt locally. When it solidifies, a strong, permanent connection is formed.
Products overview
Electrodes
See productSpot welding electrodes transfer current and contact pressure precisely to the joining zone and ensure stable weld spots. Available in straight, offset, Dalex or custom configurations. Manufactured from highly conductive copper or WIRBALIT® HF (CuCr1Zr).
Electrode caps
See productElectrode caps transfer the welding current and form the contact surface to the workpiece. They are available in all standard designs in accordance with DIN ISO 5821 and are made of zirconium copper (CuZr), WIRBALIT® CA (CuAl₂O₃) or WIRBALIT® HF (CuCr1Zr).
Electrode arms
See productElectrode arms transmit welding current and closing force from the gun to the electrode. They ensure stable positioning of the electrodes and are available in WIRBALIT® B (CuCr1Zr) or aluminium versions.
Electrode shanks and holders
See productElectrode shanks and holders connect the electrodes to the welding guns and conduct welding current. Available in straight or curved versions made from WIRBALIT® HF/N/G (CuCr1Zr), WIRBALIT® CA (CuAl₂O₃), or WIRBALIT® D (CuNi2.5SiCr).
Lamella shunts
See productLamella shunts transfer the welding current between the power source and moving components such as clamps, arms or holders. They consist of stacked copper lamellae and are available in standard sizes or as custom-made products.
Connection cables
See productConnection cables transmit the welding current from the power source to the clamp with low loss. They are available as air- or water-cooled versions made of Cu-ETP or oxygen-free copper (OFC).
We keep your production running
With one of the largest warehouses in Europe, we deliver products in standard formats immediately. Thanks to our in-house development and lean structures, we are also capable of implementing custom solutions flexibly and promptly.
As an active member of the German Welding Society (DVS), we contribute our practical experience directly to standards and guidelines. This results in solutions that not just meet current regulations but also help to shape the future.
Together, we analyze requirements, identify potential for optimization, and implement concrete improvements to make your processes more economical. As we understand consulting to be an integral part of the production process.
Where standards are not sufficient, we manufacture components according to drawings, samples, or as individual developments. In any case, each solution is precisely tailored to your production and permanently increases its efficiency.
All production phases are integrated into a structured testing system that detects and documents deviations at an early stage. For particularly demanding applications, we test components individually according to your specifications.
60 years of welding technology experience go into every product and every consultation. Our in-depth understanding of complex welding processes ensures stable production processes and reliable results.
